Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. LaCap completed her Aesthetic Advantage Certification at New York University. She then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Columbia University School of Dental & Oral Surgery, where she graduated in the top 10% of her class. She then completed a residency at Englewood Hospital.
Over the years, Dr. LaCap has pursued advanced training in a wide variety of different specialties, including dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, Full-Face Orthodontics, Invisalign™, endodontics, gum disease, patient management, and restorative care.

Dr. LaCap has received several prestigious awards over the course of her career, including the Excellence in Orthodontic Award from the American Association of Orthodontics, the Excellence in Periodontics Award from the Northeastern Society of Periodontists, the Appreciation Award from The Filipino Reporter newspaper, and an Award of Distinction from the CM Easter Seaboard USA. Where it all started
Life Outside of Dentistry
Dr. LaCap and Dr. Tong first met in dental school--in fact, they were anatomy lab partners. Was it love at first sight? You’ll have to ask them! After over 28 years of working together as dentists, they still share the same passion for creating beautiful and healthy smiles.
Another passion they share together is their love for each other and their five children. Their weekends are spent watching their sons’ soccer or baseball games - they have never missed one yet. When they are not in the dental office working, you can find them on the slopes skiing or boating on the Hudson River.
